There are 307 islands in the southern most province of Tawi-Tawi (Philippines) and Laa Islet in Simunul is just one of them. It was gleaming under the sun as we cruise for mainland Simunul – turquoise waters, marine life, healthy reefs, beach with no people, blue skies – common sights in its surrounding waters. Rural life it is!
